I think the most useful tool from the Library database for me is ProQuest. One of the important things about the articles we must find to write papers is the accuracy of information. The information from articles would be the base of one's argument, and if it was not true, the argument is pointless. ProQuest allows us to find only the articles which were checked by scholars who have the same field of research, and it shows us the most related articles to the keywords. Therefore people can get accurate information by using ProQuest and I think it is the most useful tool from the Library Database. Reading all by myself was difficult and I had a lot of questions at first, but discussing with others helped me to understand the meaning of words, which I could not understand and to get the new way of thinking.

My Course Expectations

I was born and raised in Japan, where most people speak Japanese as a native language. I think my identity as Japanese is come from not only the fact that I was born and raised in Japan, but also that my native language is Japanese. So I am interested in the identities of people in the countries where some different languages are used such as India, and people that their first language and their parents’ first language are different. Also, I want to get the skills to find reliable information from books or articles by using today's technologies, such as library databases or Google Scholar. I want to use this opportunity to get the knowledge, which I don’t have now and the techniques to make the well-structured academic writing.
